Caitlin Clark was spectacular in Friday’s win against the Dallas Wings. Her head coach, Stephanie White, had nothing but the highest praise for the superstar after the game.
Caitlin Clark showed out for the Indiana Fever against the Dallas Wings in their latest win. The point guard had a 29-point double-double, controlling the game from start to finish.
Clark had an injury concern at one point during the game, but managed to get back on the court. Thankfully, it did not diminish her abilities as she was able to get her team the victory.
The Fever’s head coach, Stephanie White, has come under some scrutiny for not defending her players enough recently. However, she had nothing but positives to talk about when mentioning Clark’s game.

Stephanie White says Indiana Fever are at their best with Caitlin Clark in charge
Caitlin Clark isn’t her team’s highest scorer this season. That would be Kelsey Mitchell, and it has led to a lot of conversation about who the best player on the roster is.
It hasn’t stopped the duo from dominating, of course. And while Mitchell is scoring at an incredible level, White’s assessment of CC’s game shows what makes her skill set so valuable.
“She’s like a maestro, the way that she really runs our offense,” White told reporters at the press conference following the 98-87 win.
“I think when we’re at our best, she is instructing, she is running it much like a show. It’s tough to match up with us when she’s commanding the floor like that.”
The Fever’s three best players, Clark, Mitchell, and Aliyah Boston, all complement each other extremely well. As they continue to rack up wins, teams will keep a wary eye on Indiana heading into the playoffs.
