James Trafford is in line to make his first appearance at Elland Road when Leeds United take on FC Augsburg on Saturday in their final pre-season friendly of the summer.
If selected, the goalkeeper will take part in his maiden game on home soil following his record-breaking move to the club from Manchester City.
England international Trafford made his opening appearance on Wednesday in Dublin against Manchester United as preparations continue for the new season.
Speaking after getting his first minutes under his belt, he said: “It has been brilliant. We play with a lot of energy and from my first day, I can see everything we are trying to do and trying to achieve this season. I am loving it.”
The clash with Bundesliga side Augsburg is the final pre-season test for Daniel Farke’s squad ahead of our opening Premier League game against Nottingham Forest.
Kick-off is at 3pm UK time.
