Journalist explains why Juventus is still inferior to their rivals

Juventus continue to improve their squad with players who can make the team strong enough to achieve success in domestic and European competitions this season. Juve could not finish in the top four last season, which can be interpreted as a disaster, and the men in black and white will hope to outperform themselves when the new campaign begins.

The goal is to return to the Champions League and win some trophies along the way, but Juventus face several important rivals who will challenge them across the competitions. During this transfer window, Juve have had the opportunity to strengthen their squad and prepare properly for the challenges ahead.

Juventus Still Have Work To Do

The men at the Allianz Stadium continue to show that they can do better than they have done so far and will be keen to beat the likes of Inter Milan, Napoli, AC Milan and Roma to trophies. However, they are not ahead of their rivals yet when assessing all the clubs involved in the race for the title and European places.

Journalist Stefano Cecchi has discussed the teams involved in the competition and said via Tuttojuve:

“As of today, Juventus is somewhat inferior to the big names in Serie A.

“Vlahovic’s attitude was unacceptable, but at the end of the season he always scored goals. Alajbegovic is a fascinating signing, but he fills a role already filled by Yildiz. Which means the Bosnian will either be a reserve or force Yildiz to move.”

Juve Face Strong Competition

Cecchi’s assessment highlights the challenge facing Juventus as they attempt to improve their position in Serie A. Despite their efforts in the transfer market, the Bianconeri still have ground to make up on their main rivals.

The club will hope their recruitment can help close that gap and provide the quality needed to compete for trophies. Returning to the Champions League remains an important objective, but Juventus must first prove they can consistently outperform the teams around them.

With Inter Milan, Napoli, AC Milan and Roma all competing for major honours and European places, Juventus will need their squad improvements to translate into results. The Bianconeri have made progress in the market, but their performances on the pitch will ultimately determine whether they can return to the top of Italian football.
