Alvarez has returned to training under Diego Simeone after finally speaking with his manager last Wednesday.
Notably, there has been no major confrontation or dramatic fallout at Atletico’s training ground, despite speculation that the situation could escalate.
Instead, the Barcelona target is taking a calmer approach.
Dialogue and diplomacy remain his preferred strategy, even though Simeone’s response to his request for a move did not give him the answer he wanted.
