Juventus linked with audacious move for key Man Utd man

Bruno Fernandes has a year left on his contract, and Juventus are among the clubs interested in a move for him this summer, according to Calciomercato.

The Bianconeri see him as an ideal player to include in their squad during this window and would do their best to sign the Manchester United captain.

A year ago, Fernandes was the subject of serious transfer interest from Saudi Arabia, but he opted to stay, even though United were willing to sell him because the proposed fee was huge.

His deal expires at the end of this season, and the EPL side have not offered him a new contract, which could be a sign that they are planning for life without him in their squad.

Juventus See Fernandes as a Star

The Red Devils see Fernandes as a key player, but not offering him a new deal is encouraging other clubs to consider a move for him. Juventus are one of the teams keen to sign the Portuguese star.

The Bianconeri see Fernandes as one of the best players they could add to their squad, and Juventus do need a superstar in their current team. His quality and experience could provide the kind of boost the club is looking for as they continue to build their squad.

Fernandes is considered a player who can elevate the level at the club, making him an attractive target for Juventus. However, there is a significant obstacle that could prevent the move from happening.

Fernandes’ Wage Demands Could Be a Problem

The Portuguese star’s current earnings mean Juventus would have to break their wage structure to sign him. This is something they could not do to keep Dusan Vlahovic at the club, and they might not be willing to do it for Fernandes either.

Juventus must therefore decide whether Fernandes is valuable enough to justify changing their approach to wages. The midfielder could bring considerable quality to their squad, but his financial demands could make the transfer difficult.

With his contract situation creating uncertainty at United, Fernandes could attract further interest before the end of the season. Juventus will need to consider both his ability and the financial implications before deciding whether to pursue a deal.

For now, the Bianconeri remain interested, but his wages could ultimately determine whether they can turn their admiration into a concrete transfer.
