Juventus’ rumored loan move for PSG-bound Zion Suzuki looks to be in jeopardy of not happening

And this is why Juventus should have never left their goalkeeper situation remain unsettled just a week before the new Serie A season is set to kick off, boys and girls.

I say that because, as things stand now, Juventus’ rumored move for the Paris Saint-Germain-bound Zion Suzuki looks less and less likely to actually happen. That is according to multiple reports out of Italy on Thursday, with things likely being a rather fluid situation even as I type this sentence out. As IlBianconero’s Romeo Agresti put it in a post to social media, “Today has brought a slowdown on the Suzuki front. We’ll see in the coming hours if it’s definitive.” He then went on to say that Juventus have “resumed evaluating other profiles” — which pretty much tells you all you need to know about the club’s confidence when it comes to securing Suzuki on loan for the 2026-27 season.

Instead, yet another pivot looks about as likely as ever to happen now as we sit here 10 days before Juventus kick things off against Frosinone on Aug. 23.

That pivot, as you might expect, looks to be Tottenham’s Guglielmo Vicario — although Spurs are reportedly looking for a potential sale rather than a loan move, according to Gazzetta dello Sport’s Giovanni Albanese.
