The Kerala Assembly polls scheduled on April 9 will see 890 candidates from various political parties seeking the mandate of the over 2.7 crore voters in the state. The Election Commission said that of the 2,125 nominations received by it, 890 candidates remain in the fray following the scrutiny process and withdrawal of candidature by others.
