The Atlanta Falcons' new-look offense managed to score just seven points in Friday's 27-7 preseason loss to the Denver Broncos, and the team's lone touchdown was a one-yard scramble by undrafted free agent QB Jack Strand late in the third quarter. Atlanta's preseason debut under head coach Kevin Stefanski was less than stellar, but there were still a few standouts on offense and defense. Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts seemed to pick up where he left off during his breakout 2025 season. Pitts caught three out of his four targets from quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, finishing with 22 receiving yards after playing the first two drives of the game. However, it was a different Falcons tight end who earned the team's highest Pro Football Focus grade on offense. Former undrafted free agent Josh Simon earned a PFF grade of 89.6, which was nearly 10 points higher than Pitts' 79.8. Simon finished the game with two catches for 29 yards (14.5 yards per reception). Wide receiver Chris Blair also stood out, as he often does in the preseason. Blair led the team with 37 receiving yards on two catches for a PFF grade of 73.1. Check out the team's five highest graded offensive players in Friday's loss to the Broncos below. Linebacker Keshawn Banks earned the team's highest overall PFF grade, finishing Friday's game with an elite score of 90.2. Banks, a UFL standout, recorded one tackle and one QB hit. Atlanta struggled to get any pressure on the Broncos quarterbacks in the preseason opener. Rookie Kendal Daniels and edge Azeez Ojulari combined for the Falcons' only sack. Veteran cornerback Mike Ford earned the second-highest defensive grade (78.8), followed by undrafted linebacker Daveren Rayner (78.5), UDFA cornerback Malcolm DeWalt IV (75.6).
