Davide Frattesi is set to join Lazio in a deal worth €15m, which will see Inter retain a 50% sell-on clause, and the Italy international is now booked in for a medical on Friday according to the latest updates.
Frattesi’s Lazio medical booked for Friday
Italy international Frattesi is set to join Lazio on an initial season-long loan deal at a cost of €1m with an obligation to buy set at €14m. This €15m package is roughly half of the €30m fee that Inter had been seeking for Frattesi, which is why the Nerazzurri will keep hold of a 50% sell-on clause.
According to the latest updates from Sky Sport Italia, the 26-year-old will have his medical with the Biancocelesti on Friday.
Frattesi has made a total of 122 appearances across all competitions for Inter over the last three seasons following his move to San Siro from Sassuolo. He has netted 15 goals in that time, 11 of which have come in Serie A.
Frattesi, born and raised in the Italian capital, had spent several years on Lazio’s books as a child before moving over to the Roma academy in 2014.

He leaves a well-stocked Inter midfield department that also includes Nicolo Barella, Hakan Calhanoglu, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Petar Sucic, Piotr Zielinski, Andy Diouf and Aleksandar Stankovic. There have also been reports that Cristian Chivu could also look to add Liverpool’s Curtis Jones into the mix as well.
