LeBron James started his personal YouTube channel at 41 years old and wants his son, Bronny James, to help teach him some aspects of being a content creator.

James has been one of the biggest ‘influencers’ in the world because of his 154 million Instagram followers and incredible basketball career. However, he’s only now officially become a ‘content creator.’

His son, Bronny, was a content creator as a teenager long before he was a professional basketball player, and LeBron wants his son’s help with his new YouTube career.

Bronny James teaches LeBron James what a YouTube outro is

YouTube videos often end with the creators asking viewers to like, subscribe, and turn notifications on. LeBron and Bronny had a funny discussion about the same, where LeBron asks his son to ‘teach him the game,’ while admitting he’s never watched a YouTube outro before in his life.

This was filmed during LeBron’s recent game with Bronny, Austin Reaves, and a couple of golf YouTubers.

Bronny was a streamer in his teenage years and was extremely popular before he dropped that to focus on his NBA career.

LeBron’s first video on YouTube was a 90+-minute production of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 2016 title reunion golf game after months of internet speculation on what happened on that trip.

While LeBron will likely focus on his debut season with the Philadelphia 76ers from October, he might share a lot of interesting content before then.

LeBron James’ past YouTube ventures

Although LeBron has never had a personal YouTube channel before, he’s been actively dropping content on YouTube over the last decade.

His ‘UNINTERRUPTED’ media brand hosted ‘The Shop,’ as a regular series until a few years ago, where LeBron would speak to other high-level athletes and entertainers while in a barbershop.

James has also been hosting the ‘Mind the Game’ podcast intermittently for the last three seasons, with initial co-host JJ Redick getting hired as LeBron’s head coach on the Lakers after its first season. Steve Nash replaced Redick as the co-host, and we received regular episodes last season.

LeBron will likely post well-produced lifestyle content on this channel, potentially giving fans a peek into his personal life, but it does seem like this won’t be an active platform until after LeBron retires.
