LeBron James is preparing for his 24th season in the NBA, but that’s not the only thing on his mind these days. Just a day ago, the new Philadelphia 76ers star launched a new YouTube channel focused on golf. The NBA champion’s latest business venture comes weeks after he shared photos and videos of himself on a golfing trip with the 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers roster.

James, 41, posted a 90-minute video on his YouTube channel featuring some of the Cleveland Cavaliers players from the 2016 roster.
In the video, the group of athletes traveled to Scotland to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their championship win.
James’ channel has already become a massive hit, garnering over 370,000 subscribers in just a day, while the video has amassed 943,000 views in the same amount of time.
“Follow along as LeBron brings his friends and fans along for the journey as golf takes him to some of the world’s greatest courses,” the video’s description read. “Come for the game, stay for the great local food, wine, and a whole lot of laughs along the way.”
LeBron James Has Been Enjoying Golfing
James has opened up about his passion for golf over the last year. In April 2026, he made headlines after making critical comments about the city of Memphis while golfing on the Bob Does Sports YouTube channel.
The father of three also spoke about his love for golf during an interview with Rich Kleiman in July 2026, saying that he hopes to introduce different communities to the sport.
“My goal is to open doors for kids that look like me growing up in the inner city, to be able to go to country clubs at 7, 8, 9 years old and be able to go out and caddy or be able to go out and rent clubs and be able to be coached and play the game of golf,” he said. “And it’s not because they can’t afford it. It’s because they have a passion of wanting to play that sport.”

Recently, James spoke with a content creator about his golf routine and said he’s still learning the game.
“Right now, I’m just managing the course,” he said. “As I’m learning my game, I’m just learning to manage the course. Every hole, every par 4, every par 5 doesn’t mean I have to pull out the driver, so I’m just trying to manage the course until I get there.”
When asked which four people he would love to play a round of golf with, the self-proclaimed King James said, “Me, Nelly Korda, Bob Does Sports (Robby Berger), and Wesley Bryan.”
For those unfamiliar, Korda is a US Women’s Open champion and Olympic gold medalist, while Berger, known for his social media presence, is a full-time content creator focused on sports comedy.
Bryan, meanwhile, is a professional golfer who previously won the RBC Heritage in 2017.
James Departed The Lakers After Eight Seasons And A Championship Win

Before launching his YouTube channel, James announced his departure from the Los Angeles Lakers after eight seasons. In a post on X, James thanked the purple-and-gold for showering him with love during his run with the team and also praised the fans for supporting him.
“Truly a [sic] honor to wear the [purple and gold] while trying to continue the greatness [and] legacies that came before me! Hope I made a few proud during my stint,” he said, per The Blast.
Weeks after his announcement, the 4x NBA champion signed with the 76ers in Philadelphia and said that this was his “last [free agency] decision.” He added, “I still want to sacrifice. I still want to work. I still want to grind. I still want to compete, to win and to have a chance at the feeling of winning another championship.”
The Lakers Have New Owners

James’ exit isn’t the only change for the Lakers, either. According to a previous report from The Blast, the LA-based NBA team was just sold to Josh Kushner and Bob Iger for $12 billion.
They acquired the team from Mark Walter, who bought it for $10 billion a year earlier.
Former Laker and 5x NBA champion Magic Johnson opened up about the sale on his X account, expressing his support for the new move.
“Laker fans, you couldn’t have two better owners. I’ve known Bob personally for over 40 years – he has always loved the Lakers and basketball, and he will bring championships back to LA,” he wrote.
