Liverpool Are In The Running To Land This Everton Winger: What Will He Bring To Anfield?

In a recent report, journalist Mark Brus revealed that Liverpool are in the running to land Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye this summer. It has been mentioned that the Reds have held discussions over a potential move for the Senegal international, but will have to compete with Arsenal and Manchester United in pursuit of him this off-season.

Ndiaye’s Impressive Form At Merseyside Last Season

Ndiaye managed to catch the eye with his performances for the Toffees in the Premier League last season. The Senagalese talent featured in 32 league matches for Everton in the previous campaign, scoring six times and earning three assists in the process.

The 26-year-old is currently among the most talented wide players in the Premier League. Hence, Liverpool would do well to win the race for his services in this transfer period.

His current contract at the Hill Dickinson Stadium will run out in the summer of 2029, which could make it tough for the Reds to land him on a cut-price deal this off-season.

What Will Ndiaye Bring To Liverpool?

Ndiaye is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make a few driving runs with it out on the flanks. He has the vision to engineer a few inviting chances for others around him in the final third and can shoot the ball with power from long range.

The Senegalese sensation can chip in by scoring and creating a handful of important goals for his team. Ndiaye can play on either wing as a wide player or function in the number ten position if needed. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League and won’t take much time to adjust to life at Liverpool.

We can expect Ndiaye to bring more quality and depth to Andoni Iraola’s attack. He is good enough to fight for a regular first-team spot at Anfield next season.

At 26, Ndiaye is about to enter his prime, which makes him a worthy target for the Reds to consider in this transfer window. He will also help Liverpool compete across all fronts in the coming years. Therefore, the Merseyside club should consider going all out to acquire Ndiaye’s services before the end of this transfer window.
