Liverpool told the priority of £100m + sensation Over the last couple of weeks, Liverpool have been linked with a whole host of players. The Anfield outfit need to make an awful lot of changes to their ranks before they're even ready to start competing for the Premier League title again. Indeed, three new players have already been signed by the Reds so they're well on their way towards improving their ranks but, with the number of injuries that their squad are currently suffering with, their depth is fairly worrying. Last term, Liverpool were miles off the pace and, while changes are being made to try and rectify that, there are still a lot of deals that need to be done before Liverpool are taken as serious contenders for the title again. So, the fact that the priority of one of the Reds' long-term targets has been revealed has made things a little clearer.

Bradley Barcola is expected to prioritise Liverpool over any other team Liverpool still haven't figured out their attacking problems. Mohamed Salah is gone and, since Hugo Ekitike won't be able to play until at least January, there's a lot of things that could go wrong. For example, if Alexander Isak ends up injured as much as he was last term, Liverpool will literally not have a single recognised number nine outside of their academy graduates. So, the fact that multiple attackers are still being linked with an Anfield switch is rather reassuring. Of course, things can change in an instant in football but, thanks to an update from Ben Jacobs, it's now clear that the Frenchman's priority is Liverpool. "Paris Saint-Germain just want more than the roughly £120M Manchester City paid for Elliott Anderson," he said to The Football Terrace. "Liverpool expect Bradley Barcola to prioritise a move to Anfield if another club enter the race." Liverpool need to get a move on and sign Bradley Barcola At the moment, it's clear that Liverpool are waiting for PSG to give them the green light to sign Barcola. The Frenchman wants out as he has proven by rejecting all the contract offers that the Parisian's have thrown at him. However, until their deals for Mika Godts and Ferran Torres are confirmed, the Champions League winners seem to have no intention of letting him go. But, with Barcola now expected to see Liverpool as his main priority, it feels like it should only be a matter of time before a deal is done. Obviously, it's all just a waiting game for now but, especially with all the recent updates that have emerged, Barcola joining Liverpool now seems like a matter of when, not if. And, while Richard Hughes may be exiting Anfield at the end of the summer transfer window, giving Liverpool the Frenchman as a parting gift would be a perfect way for him to end his time in L4.
