Liverpool willing to pay £55m for phenomenal Real Madrid forward Liverpool are STILL searching for a Mohamed Salah replacement. The Egyptian King, 34, was allowed to leave following an agreement to rip up his £400k per week contract one year early. Succession plans were not in place however and there is a big hole on the right side of the Reds’ attack. Bradley Barcola, Ibrahim Mbaye and Yankuba Minteh are just a flavour of the names suggested as a potential successor for Salah. But Richard Hughes has been unable to get a deal over the line - with Paris Saint-Germain thought to be seeking £145m for Barcola.

Endrick is back on Liverpool radar Unless that price comes down then the Anfield club will need alternative options - with Endrick now once again emerging on the radar. The Real Madrid striker, 20, gave his career in European football a shot in the arm on loan at Lyon last season. His Real Madrid days thus far have been underwhelming but there is significant potential in the former Palmeiras youth. Endrick, 20, was used as a right-sided attacker at Lyon - with reports emerging from the Spanish press that Jose Mourinho would consider that position for the Brazil international this season at Madrid too.

Endrick can play either right or centre With Carlos Espi the backup to Kylian Mbappe it looks as though left-footed Endrick will have to be accommodated elsewhere in the squad. That is unless Los Blancos can be convinced to cash in on the prodigious talent - with Fichajes now claiming that Liverpool are preparing a €65m (£55.55m) bid for his services. “Liverpool are prepared to offer €65 million for Endrick, the 20-year-old Brazilian striker, in an attempt to lure him away from Real Madrid before the transfer window closes,” the report reads. Liverpool plotting £55.55m raid for 'phenomenon' Endrick Madrid are said to be in two minds about the deal - despite the signing of Yan Diomande for the right side of their attack. Endrick - described as a phenomenon by Gabriel Jesus - could still have plenty to offer as a right-sided attacker cutting in on his left foot or else as a replacement No9 for Mbappe. But Liverpool would be getting an outrageous talent for a fraction of the cost of Barcola. It remains to be seen whether Hughes and Iraola pursue this deal over the weeks left in the transfer window. But don’t be surprised to see the Merseysiders conduct a late move if a deal for Barcola cannot be done.
