BATON ROUGE, La. (WGNO) - LSU's defense has a trio of defensive tackles, including Edna Karr alum Richard Anderson, fellow five-star Lamar Brown and the third highest defensive tackle of the 2026 class, Deuce Geralds are all dominating in fall ball. The freshman have been takings reps with the Tigers' starting defense since the start of camp and have also earned praise from their offensive teammates. Center Braelin Moore says the trio is more developed than some four-year players that Moore has faced in his career. Defensive coordinator Blake Baker has nothing but praise for the interior freshmen. "They're as good as I've been around, especially when you talk about a trio of freshmen. I mean, we've thrown more install at this group than I ever have in my career", Baker says. "Those guys are repping with the ones and the two, so they're getting the full install. There's been some growing pains. We're going to have to fight through the freshmen wall at some point. I think all three of them are doing a great job fighting it right now, but I am proud of where they're at now and where they've come from. They work at it. They're all. They all love football. They got really, really bright futures. But you'll see all three of those guys on the field." Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved.
