Man United position revealed regarding Arsenal raid after long-standing interest

Myles Lewis-Skelly has been linked with a move away from Arsenal this summer.

The 19-year-old is highly rated across England, and he has a bright future. He has been linked with clubs like Chelsea and Manchester United.

According to a report from The Independent, the 19-year-old could be on the move this summer, but a move to Manchester United seems unlikely.

Man United keen on Lewis-Skelly

The report claims that Manchester United have a long-standing interest in the versatile 19-year-old, but they simply do not have the finances right now to get the deal done. They could use a versatile player like Lewis-Skelly, who can operate as a left back as well as a defensive midfielder. He could have been the ideal utility man for Manchester United. They are looking to build a quality team for the future, and the 19-year-old would have been an asset.

The youngster has struggled for regular opportunities at Arsenal, and he needs to play more often. Regular football could bring out the best in him and help him fulfil his potential. There is no doubt that Manchester United or Chelsea could be the ideal destination for him. If Arsenal are unwilling to provide him with the opportunity he needs.

Arsenal might not want to lose Lewis-Skelly

Meanwhile, losing a player of his calibre could be a long-term blow for Arsenal. He has all the tools to develop into a future star. He has already impressed in the Premier League with Arsenal, and there is no doubt that he is good enough to play for a big club.

It remains to be seen how the situation develops over the next few days.

Arsenal are not actively trying to push the youngster out of the club, but he needs to sort out his future if he wants to play regularly next season.
