Joshua Zirkzee is the striker Juventus have focused on signing in recent days, but the Bianconeri could struggle to secure him on loan. Manchester United have opened the door for the Dutchman to leave, although they do not want him to return to the club after a year.

Juventus are keen on the former Bologna man, but their current plan is to add him to their squad on loan for this season. They believe Zirkzee could complement their attack and strengthen it.

Juventus Consider Their Options

The men at the Allianz Stadium have done their best to ensure that the team is in good shape, and they will continue to do what it takes to provide Luciano Spalletti with the strongest squad possible. Bringing Zirkzee into his current attack would give the manager another option and could improve the quality of his forward line.

However, the proposed loan arrangement does not appear straightforward. Juventus would prefer to assess Zirkzee during a temporary spell before deciding whether he is the right player for a permanent move.

That approach conflicts with Manchester United’s plans for the striker. The English club are willing to let him leave, but their preference is to secure a permanent transfer rather than simply allow him to spend a season elsewhere before returning.

United Want Permanent Commitment

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, United want to sell Zirkzee, and if he leaves on loan, the club that signs him must commit to an obligation to make the move permanent at the end of the season. That condition puts Juventus in a difficult position.

The Bianconeri are not certain that Zirkzee is good enough to justify a permanent transfer, which explains why they would prefer to bring him in on loan without being forced to buy him. Such an arrangement would allow Juventus to assess his performances before making a final decision.

Manchester United’s demands therefore create a significant obstacle for Juventus. While the Italian club remain interested in Zirkzee and believes he could strengthen their attack, they must decide whether they are prepared to accept the obligation attached to a potential loan.

For now, Juventus appear to want greater flexibility, while United are seeking a firm commitment. Unless the two clubs can find common ground over those terms, Zirkzee’s proposed move to Turin could prove difficult to complete.
