Manchester City will lock horns with Arsenal at the Principality Stadium this Sunday as they look to secure a victory in the Community Shield final. The Mancunian giants managed to earn an impressive 3-1 win over Atletico Madrid in a pre-season friendly game recently, which should keep them in good spirits going into this game.
Enzo Maresca will set his players up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to name a strong starting XI for this clash. Hence, Omar Marmoush will spearhead Man City’s attack up top.

Defence
Gianluigi Donnarumma will function in goal for the Mancunian club as he looks to earn a shutout in Cardiff this weekend. Ruben Dias will feature alongside Josko Gvardiol at the centre of the Man City backline as they look to keep a good shape when defending inside his half.
Matheus Nunes will play as the right-back, while Rayan Ait-Nouri looks to give a good account of himself on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Rico Lewis will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield
Nico Gonzalez will operate along with Mateo Kovacic as they look to make life tough for the Gunners in the middle of the park. Both of them will have to retain possession well if they want to engineer some decent chances in the final third.
The gifted trio of Antoine Semenyo, Phil Foden and Savinho will function just ahead of them as part of Man City‘s attack. All three of them need to link up play well with their teammates inside the opponent’s half.
Divine Mukasa and Claudio Echeverri will be named on the bench as they await their opportunity to shine in the second 45 minutes if required.
Omar Marmoush will lead the line for the Mancunian club in the final third. He has to find a way to be a constant menace up top.
Erling Haaland will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter if Man City are in need of a goal by then.
