Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur has a plan in place for playing time during the team's final two preseason games. According to LaFleur, quarterback Jordan Love will play a drive in Denver on Friday night, suggesting all healthy players are going to get some snaps. "That's the plan right now," LaFleur said. Love and most of the starters got one drive in the preseason opener last week in Pittsburgh. From there, the plan is to have the first-team players get most of the work during the joint practice with the Arizona Cardinals next Wednesday before sitting out the preseason finale next Friday. "So, the intention, I would say, going into Week 3 (of the preseason), depending on how we do this week, would be that we'll get most of the work with the 1s in practice and then they would not play in the game," LaFleur said. Under LaFleur, the Packers have leaned on joint practice opportunities to provide preseason-like reps for starters in a more controlled live environment. But the Packers coach also believes in the value of preparing to play a game during the preseason. "I do think there's a lot of value, whether you're getting ready to play one play or a full football game, to getting your mind right to go into battle," LaFleur said. Schedule ahead
