Brooklyn Nets forwards Michael Porter Jr. and Julius Randle are looking to improve as much as possible during the 2026 NBA offseason as they seek to lead one of the youngest rosters in the league. Porter and Randle have already shown what they can do on teams at various points in their life cycle and it looks like they're expected to play pretty well next season. In the NBA 2K27 video game that is set to release in September, Porter and Randle ranked within the top-100 players in the video game. Porter was given an 85 (highest rating is 97) rating while Randle was assessed with an 83 rating, putting both of them well ahead of anyone else on the Nets roster in terms of the ratings that the studio has given the team. It should be noted that the game is releasing on on Sep. 4 for all major gaming platforms, but until the game releases, most of the ratings are listed, but not verified. Center Day'Ron Sharpe is tied with forward Josh Minott and guard Egor Demin as the third-best player on Brooklyn's roster as the trio each has a 78 rating, but Sharpe's name comes up before Minott and Demin. As far as verified ratings are concerned, rookie guard Mikel Brown Jr., whom the Nets selected with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, has a 74 rating. With Brown being rated at a 74 at this point in the offseason, that means that NBA 2K sees him as the 13th-best player in the roster with forwards Drake Powell (73) and Chaney Johnson (73) as the only players ranked behind him. As the 2K ratings website (separate from the official NBA 2K website) notes, rookie forwards Joshua Jefferson and Tyler Bilodeau do not have ratings as of yet so it'll be interesting to see where Brown ranks once his fellow rookies' ratings have been released. Training camp is still more than one month away from now so plenty can change between now and then, but for now, Porter and Randle are seen as the best players on the team and the upcoming NBA 2K27 video game will reflect as such.
