Chicago Bears vs. Cleveland Browns (1 p.m. ET)
The Bears enter the preseason after an 11-6 campaign and an NFC North title. Caleb Williams remains the main attraction as Chicago builds around its young quarterback. Cleveland finished 5-12 last season and enters with questions at quarterback.
Deshaun Watson is set to start in this game over Shedeur Sanders, as the latter will get his opportunity in the second week of preseason, while the team tries to adjust in the absence of its former defensive centerpiece, Myles Garrett.

Buffalo Bills vs. Carolina Panthers (1 p.m. ET)
Buffalo finished 12-5 last season and won a playoff game before falling in overtime during the Divisional Round. Josh Allen leads the Bills alongside running back James Cook. Carolina went 8-9 but still won the NFC South. The Panthers will look for improvement from their defense as they prepare for another competitive division race.
New York Giants vs. Minnesota Vikings (1 p.m. ET)
The Giants are coming off a difficult 4-13 season and missed the playoffs. They now hope their young core can help turn things around. Minnesota finished 9-8 and also missed the postseason. The Vikings have already named Kyler Murray as their starting QB and will draw attention for their passing attack, while New York continues to evaluate its young players.
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Los Angeles Rams (4 p.m. ET)
Kansas City enters the preseason after an unusual 6-11 season that ended its playoff streak. Patrick Mahomes will headline the Chiefs’ effort to bounce back after recovering from his season-ending injury. The Rams went 12-5 and reached the NFC Championship Game. Matthew Stafford leads an offense that remains dangerous, while the new addition of Garrett strengthens the defense.

QB Trevor Lawrence remains central to the Jaguars’ plans. The Saints, meanwhile, need improved consistency as they look to compete within their division.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Philadelphia Eagles (7 p.m. ET)
The Ravens finished 8-9 last season and will look to Lamar Jackson to lead their rebound. Philadelphia won the NFC East at 11-6 but exited in the opening playoff round. Jalen Hurts remains a key offensive weapon for the Eagles, but they will have to adjust with A.J. Brown’s departure. The matchup gives both teams useful preseason competition.
Seattle Seahawks vs. Dallas Cowboys (8 p.m. ET)
Seattle enters as the defending Super Bowl champion after finishing 14-3 last season. Jaxon Smith-Njigba remains one of its biggest offensive threats. On the other hand, Dallas went 7-9-1 and missed the playoffs. Star QB Dak Prescott will headline the Cowboys as they look to recover from a disappointing campaign.
