Glasgow-founded Octo Insurance Brokers is the official front-of-shirt sponsor for Celtic FC Women from the 2026/27 season which kicks off this Sunday, 16 August against Glasgow City.
The multi-year partnership, which is the biggest jersey sponsorship to date for Celtic FC Women, sees Octo Insurance Brokers appear in gold on the front of the women’s team shirts. Gold detailing is being used across all Celtic FC kit this season to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Lisbon Lions, when the team brought the European Cup to Celtic Park in the 1966/67 season.
The sponsorship announcement comes at a significant moment for Celtic FC Women as the club continues to invest in the long-term future of women’s football in Scotland.
Last September, Celtic opened the redeveloped Barrowfield Training Centre in Glasgow’s East End as a dedicated base for its Women’s team and Academies. The state-of-the-art facility includes a full-sized indoor arena, outdoor natural grass and artificial pitches, gym and fitness facilities, changing rooms, medical suites, sports science and analysis areas, as well as learning facilities.
Octo’s support follows Celtic FC Women becoming the first club in Scotland to professionalise women’s football, with the team continuing to set the standard for player development within the sport.
