Pittsburgh Steelers football is back as the team kicks off the 2026 NFL preseason against the Green Bay Packers at home on Thursday, Aug. 13.
It's a bittersweet year for Pittsburgh as it'll be quarterback Aaron Rodgers' last season before retirement in what's been a first-ballot hall of fame career for the four-time MVP winner.

Last year, Rodgers and the Steelers snuck into the playoffs with a 10-7 record, which earned them a wild card berth before losing in the opening round to the Houston Texans.
With the addition of veteran wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. among other players, the Steelers may be a team to watch throughout the season. The Steelers' first regular season game is less than a month away as the team will host the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, Sept. 13, and tickets are still available.
