Manchester United are waiting in the wings to see if Lewis Hall will try to push for a move to Old Trafford this summer.
Newcastle United are insisting that the full-back is not for sale, but said the same for Alexander Isak prior to his Liverpool switch last summer and for Bruno Guimaraes, who officially joined Arsenal this week.

This window, however, the Magpies are even more closed off to the potential sale of Hall due to their major departures already; before Guimaraes bid farewell to St. James’ Park, Anthony Gordon and Sandro Tonali had both packed their bags for pastures new.
Eddie Howe also stepped down from his role as head coach after five years on Tyneside, with Al-Ahli’s Matthias Jaissle being cherry-picked to replace the Englishman.
As a result, the Newcastle board are keen to avoid any further disruption to the squad – especially with the new campaign just a week away.

Ben Jacobs said of Hall on Thursday: “Newcastle are done with selling big names and are adamant that Lewis Hall is not for sale.
“The player could maybe influence a move if he said he wanted United, but the price would still be an issue.”
A fee of £60 million has previously been quoted for the 21-year-old – three years after Newcastle shelled out £28m (plus £7m in add-ons) to sign him from Chelsea following a successful season-long loan stint.
Throughout his time with his boyhood club, Hall has racked up 112 appearances across all competitions, including 75 in the Premier League and 11 in the Champions League.

He’d be able to add to his experience in Europe’s elite competition if he did join United for 2026/2027, whereas Newcastle’s 12th-placed finish last term means they have no European action to account for in the year ahead.
