PORTSMOUTH — Portsmouth High School senior defender Grace Ward was voted by the community as 2026 Seacoast high school girls soccer Preseason Player of the Year.
Ward won the online poll with more than 46% of the votes, totaling 3,008. Marshwood High School senior goalie Hazel Martin finished second with 1,778 votes.
Exeter High School senior midfielder Harper Levitsky placed third with 449 votes, Oyster River High School senior defensive midfielder Hayden MacNeill was fourth with 351 and Winnacunnet High School senior defender Molly Houlihan had 298 votes to round out the top five.
Ward, a captain last season for the Clippers, was a Division I all-state honorable mention selection.
