Arsenal would reportedly be willing to facilitate a deal for Myles Lewis-Skelly if their valuation is met this summer.

According to Ben Jacobs (via The United Stand), the player would also need to have a change of heart regarding his future at the Emirates, where he is wanting to stay and fight for a place.

Myles Lewis-Skelly: What’s the latest?

Jacobs said of Lewis-Skelly on Thursday: “At the right number, Arsenal would be prepared to do business over Lewis-Skelly, but a club would have to come to them, not the other way round.

“The player would also have to change his mind about fighting for his place at Arsenal.”

It comes after reports suggested that Lewis-Skelly had been directly offered to United, as well as Chelsea, who frequently do business with their London rivals.

Arsenal are looking to recuperate some funds following their £75 million acquisition of Bruno Guimaraes after he officially made the switch last weekend.

The Gunners are said to value their academy graduate in the region of £45m, which would certainly be an enticing fee for potential suitors.

United prefer Lewis Hall to Lewis-Skelly

INEOS, however, have their sights firmly set on a deal for Lewis Hall instead, but the lingering issue of Newcastle United being unwilling to sell is proving to be a significant obstacle for the Red Devils to overcome.

Hall is two years older than 19-year-old Lewis-Skelly and has made 41 more Premier League appearances than his compatriot, having featured prominently for the Magpies since his £35m (£28m upfront plus £7m in add-ons) transfer from Chelsea in 2023.

How the two players have fared in the Premier League (Transfermarkt)

The Arsenal youngster did struggle for game time last season due to the form of Riccardo Calafiori and the addition of Piero Hincapie, and it’s likely he will face the same dilemma once 2026/2027 gets underway.
