Aug. 18—QUINCY — The Quincy School District announced their 2026 inductees to the QSD Wall of Fame. This honor recognizes individuals and teams who have made outstanding contributions to Quincy athletics and academics. "I think it's a really nice thing for the Quincy community to celebrate and honor the folks that have contributed to our community through a lot of different ways," said Quincy's Athletic Director Brett Fancher. This year's Wall of Fame induction ceremony will be held at halftime Sept. 18 during the Quincy vs Ephrata football game at Jackrabbit Stadium. Members of the Quincy School District community will gather to celebrate the achievements of these remarkable individuals and teams, the QSD Communications Coordinator Jessica Blancas said in a press release. The ceremony is open to the public and all are welcome to join in the honoring the legacy of these individuals. Fancher said the inductees are also invited to a dinner held before the football game. Efforts from those recognized for the Wall of Fame help enrich the community of Quincy and show the level of talent that comes out of the city. "It's just a really good thing for people to come honor, celebrate and remember what these folks have done to our community and our school district," said Fancher. 2026 Inductees Les Albright For more than four decades, Les Albright has been a dedicated supporter of Quincy athletics.
