The Arizona Cardinals beat the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday 27-14 in preseason action. The starters played only one series, and two of the Cardinals' top draft picks got hurt.
Offensive lineman Chase Bisontis, their second-round pick, suffered a season-ending knee injury, tearing his MCL. Running back Jeremiyah Love, the No. 3 pick in the draft, hurt his ankle and hopefully will be ready to play in the season opener. However, there is a bit of a story as to how we got to that point of information.
In a new episode of the podcast, cohost Seth Cox and I talk about the game. We discuss how the starters did. We break down the problems that led to Love's injury and go over the other Cardinals standouts in the game.
