Satisfaction proved the main course at Redneck Brawl 14, as Johnson City, Tennessee’s “Hillbilly Slugfest” delivered in-ring justice and on-screen entertainment. The 35 scheduled fights were cut to 34 due to scheduled fighter Crazy Little Psycho ending up pregnant (no baby registry available as of publication time) and removed from the lineup. But, the latest Brawl was still the largest so far, and as crowd-pleasing as ever.

The spotlight fight this time around featured internet celebrity and padded pants enthusiast Frankie LaPenna fighting controversial Redneck Brawl staple Sasquatch midway through the card. And, predictably, Sasquatch defaulted to his standard Heisman stiff-arm bullrush technique instead of actually boxing in any meaningful way.

Sasquatch stands over a cornered and tackled Frankie LaPenna

One of the great satisfactions of Brawl #13 was seeing someone else use Sasquatch’s signature nonsense against him to devastating effect. Unfortunately, a 13 inch and 130 pound size disadvantage made that impossible for LaPenna to duplicate. But, just when it seemed we were in for another night of watching Sasquatch yet again do his best impression of a nose tackle forcing his way onto a crowded elevator… Justice instead prevailed!

A Frankie-friendly crowd booed lustily, the referee started issuing warnings and deducting points from Sasquatch, LaPenna landed a few well-timed counters while twisting and turning like a matador doing the electric slide in his attempts to elude Sasquatch’s charges… And LaPenna took a righteous, if arguably dubious, decision victory!

Frankie LaPenna wears the victor’s crown after his decision win

The main event saw J-Money, last seen in Knoxville, Tennessee at Brawl #13 knocking out a guy who was effectively blindfolded by a poorly fitted headband, stepping up to challenge perhaps the Brawl’s top pound-for-pound active fighter in Tennessee Cornbread. Cornbread started hot, scoring a knockdown in the first round, but J-Money patiently worked actual boxing fundamentals, slipping, dodging, countering, and thoroughly outboxing Cornbread the rest of the way. Wouldn’t have been debatable over a longer distance given the trajectory of things, but perhaps the scoring given the knockdown will prove controversial enough for a prompt rematch? No complaints if we end up seeing them go at it again at the next edition!

Here’s the rundown of all the other highlights, lowlights, and notable moments from the rest of the show:

Most Inspirational Fighter

One-Leg Big Ed rocks the prosthetic on his way into the ring

First time Brawler One-Leg Big Ed made history as the first person with a prosthesis to fight on the promotion, having undergone a transtibial amputation due to a blood infection he contracted in 2025. Embracing his self-described status as “nothin’ but twisted steel and sex appeal,” Big Ed followed through on his pre-fight promise to triumph as a literal “one-legged man in this ass-kickin’ contest.”

One-Leg Big Ed finishes off Big Red in Round 2

Ed didn’t just win, he earned the stoppage, taking home victory by TKO-2 over Brawl veteran Big Red. Ed proved that one leg won’t stop you when you’ve got two powerful fists and exceptional mic skills on top of them. Hopefully we’ll see him again on a future show!

Most Painful Way to Advertise an OnlyFans

Off Grid Misty prepares to enter the ring

Off Grid Misty isn’t as big a name as Frankie LaPenna, but she does have a not-insignificant dual track online presence. On the one side, she produces YouTube and TikTok videos about rustic living, home conversion DIY tutorials, and other off-grid lifestyle material. On the other, she cultivates a subscription-driven adult content library, featuring various permutations of both self-gratification, and partnered enactments of the physical act of love with her ethical non-monogamist gentleman friend, Off Grid Axel, or/and her girlfriend, Anna.

Misty found herself matched against fellow first-timer KAOS, who trains in boxing and has a history of success in Toughman fighting events. It looked like Misty was in for a rough night, and so it proved to be:

Off Grid Misty eats one of many punches from KAOS

KAOS was relentless, pummeling Misty from the opening bell. But, Misty showed a level of heart seldom seen on this sort of show, where plenty of people with stronger motivations to fight have given up once things got physical. Misty could easily have gone down in the first round on any number of hard punches, leaving the ring with relatively minor bumps and bruises but all the same boost in audience and publicity.

Instead, Misty hung tough through more point blank shots to the face than a year’s worth of adult content, as KAOS unloaded on her relentlessly for three full rounds. Credit to Misty, who took it all, threw back plenty of her own, and gave us one of the best action fights of the night. Misty lost the decision, but won the respect of the viewing audience, even earning comparisons to the chin of Fabio Wardley in our live coverage thread.

Best Comeback

A bloody Macho Man celebrates victory

Macho Man always delivers on his distinctive style of unhinged, wild-eyed manic showmanship. This time, he recklessly waved around a chainsaw in his hype video, referred to a potential opponent’s ankle monitor as an “anger mon-a-derrr” in his unique vocal cadence, and paced the ring for the entirety of “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” his signature three minute, sixteen second entry song, even though fights on this show only last a total of three active minutes.

But, he’s also lost every Redneck Brawl fight for almost two years running, gained over 60 pounds (at least 20 and counting of them are gone again), and looked overmatched against opponents well past his ideal fighting size. Even the greatest showman this side of Wolverine himself can’t stay relevant without at least occasional in-ring success, and it was dangerously close to deadline for Macho to finally get back in the win column in order to justify his continued presence at future Brawls.

Macho Man raises his arm in victory

To the great relief of all those who exclusively set their watches to MACHO TIIIIIIIIIIIME!!!!, Macho Man showed a new commitment to fundamentals with a sharp, well placed jab and good movement of his head and feet. It was enough to earn him the decision over Lawd Ghetto Meat, snapping Macho’s five-fight losing streak at the Brawl.

In the aftermath, an ecstatic and bloody-mouthed Macho told interviewer Billy Hubbard about the various challenges and family deaths he’s endured during his losing streak, and thanked the people of Tennessee and West Virginia for their support. One more win and it’s a streak the other way, so go get ‘em again at the next event, Macho Man.

Most Inauspicious Ring Entry

Wildman the Welder catches a leg and falls entering the ring

Wildman the Welder caught a boot on the ring ropes and fell down while entering the ring. Then, he got caught and fell through the ropes during a knockdown by Lil’ Smokey, too.

Lil’ Smokey knocks Wildman the Welder through the ropes

Smokey won the decision in what proved to be a tough night coming and going for Wildman the Welder. Next time, perhaps less toe and more tread on the footwear would help?

Biggest Upset

Little Miss Lexie wins the Ring Card Girl contest

Little Miss Lexie shocked the Redneck Brawl world with a stunning upset over previously undefeated Cardi EBT in the Ring Card Girl contest. Cardi had won every show for at least a year, an uninterrupted streak of bikini-wearing, booty-shaking triumphs unprecedented in Redneck Brawl history.

Cardi’s now-broken winning streak had earned her at least one nemesis, prompting a callout of fellow Ring Card regular Porsha for a fight in the buildup to this event. Porsha celebrated tonight’s upset even more than Lexie herself, which seems unlikely to mend any fences among the group, and may hasten the fight Cardi has already been demanding.

Most Brutal Injury

Lil’ Larry corners War Bear

Lil’ Larry had a miserable night his last time out, suffering a one-punch knockout in the first ten seconds of his fight. This time, he came out like a cranked-up Tasmanian Devil, chasing down War Bear and unloading on him in the corner. During the exchange, War Bear suffered a dislocated or fractured elbow that was fortunately never shown on camera, though described in uncomfortable detail by commentator Big Murph.

Tough break, no pun intended if it was indeed a fracture, for War Bear, who seemed like a promising Brawler. Best wishes for a fast and full recovery.

Worst Fashion Choices

Bullfrog wears a pacifier-style mouth guard

Bullfrog fought with a mouth guard that looked like something between an adult pacifier and a pair of Halloween candy wax lips. It didn’t seem to help much, as it went flying during his 1st round TKO loss to Wildman.

Fabu wears questionable ring attire

Fabu fought in a crop-top tie-dye shirt, blue jeans with clip-on suspenders, and an oversize hot pink bandana/handkerchief tucked into one back pocket. I thought she looked like a Grateful Dead superfan that does balloon animal art at children’s birthday parties. Commentator Billy Hubbard had a more efficient take, saying: “She looks like she works at a vape store!” At least she won her fight!

Hook Hogan in hot pink and sunglasses

Hook Hogan is obviously cultivating his own purposeful anti-style with his bleached skullet, feather boa, hot pink cape, nut-hugger heart-covered undies… Just a whole intentional, arguably ill-advised aesthetic. It’s his bit, and he throws himself into it completely. But, oof. Yes, he won his fight over Man Bear Pig, and bravo for that. And I hope he had fun in the moment… But, TV and the internet are forever, Hook Hogan.

Best Big Girl Fight

Throat Goat (L) vs Big Thumper (R)

Shockingly, based on pre-show expectations… Throat Goat vs Big Thumper! The highly anticipated NyQuil vs Meat N Taters fight turned out to be a huge disappointment, with the antipathy running so strong that both of those women were more focused on choking, shoving, and slapping each other, ruining the potential everyone expected based on their previous fights against others.

Meanwhile, Thumper and Throat Goat squared up and let hands fly for three full rounds. Granted, it was more volume than technique, but the action was real and the crowd went wild for it. Unfortunately, Throat Goat’s decision win led us to…

Worst Celebration
