Cincinnati Reds pitcher Hunter Greene will undergo Tommy John surgery to repair a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow.
Greene will miss the remainder of the 2026 MLB season and his status for next season is in doubt as well with a 12- to 18-month recovery period after the procedure.
This is the second Tommy John surgery for Greene, who also underwent a reconstructive elbow procedure in 2018.
