Report – Milan & Porto Strike Verbal Agreement for Out-of-Favor Striker Milan and Porto have reportedly reached a ‘verbal agreement’ over Santiago Gimenez’s transfer to the Estadio do Dragao. According to Orazio Accomando, via MilanNews, the Mexican striker will join the Dragons on loan with an option to buy. Gimenez joined Milan in January 2025 after two impressive years at Feyenoord. The Rossoneri paid the Dutch outfit roughly €32 million to sign the 25-year-old, hoping he would become a new attacking leader. However, after a promising start, Gimenez fell out of favor at San Siro. Furthermore, recurring injuries significantly reduced his playing time last season, as he managed just 16 Serie A appearances. Without a single league goal to his name, Gimenez found himself on the fringes upon Ruben Amorim’s arrival.
