The Kansas City Chiefs made a huge investment in rookie defensive back Mansoor Delane back in April — trading up to the No. 6 pick in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft to select the former LSU Tigers standout.
While Delane is expected to play a key role in Kansas City's defense this season, his full participation in practices at Chiefs training camp was delayed due to a shoulder injury that kept him from taking part in full-contact drills.
On Monday, August 17, Delane took his first unrestricted repetitions at Kansas City's workouts and made a great first impression on fans and members of the media who were in attendance at Missouri Western State University.
