Over the course of the night, a number of reports about Liverpool FC’s pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain’s 23-year-old winger Bradley Barcola have surfaced.

Investigative reporter Romain Molina also spoke on the situation with the player and how his agent, Moussa Sissoko, is influencing the negotiations:

Liverpool a fait du Français une priorité depuis des mois mais le jeu des négociations a été volontairement retardé au milieu des stratégies d'agents & influence
Keep the faith !
TL; DR summary: Sissoko has an excellent relationship with PSG because he represents several key players in the squad. Ousmane Dembélé, Désiré Doué, and Bradley Barcola. PSG have a reputation for not letting players depart easily. However, it was reported last night that Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has switched to him as well. With a bottleneck of his players in the same squad and positions, it appears that Sissoko will have the leverage to engineer the move for Barcola.
There’s a general sense that negotiations around this transfer are further along than the information available. Hopefully, it’s done soon, and Liverpool will have another foundational piece of their attack sorted for the foreseeable future.
