Yesterday against Atlético San Luis, the defender wrote another chapter in her professional career by making her 100th appearance in the women’s top flight, reaching the milestone as an undisputed starter in Antonio Contreras’ lineup.

At just 23 years old, Samantha López has already built an impressive career in Liga BBVA Femenil. She made her debut with Pumas on Matchday 1 of the Apertura 2022 and remained with the university side through the Clausura 2023. She then represented Mazatlán during the Apertura 2023 before joining Guadalajara for the Apertura 2025.
With the Rebaño, ‘Sam’ has remained a dependable option in the defensive line, standing out for both her ability to stop opposing attacks and her contribution when playing out from the back. She has also scored three goals as a Rojiblanca, an impressive tally for a player whose primary role is defensive.

With this achievement, Samantha joined the select group of Chivas Femenil players who have made at least 100 Liga BBVA Femenil appearances.
