Fans were in for a treat on Tuesday as the Los Angeles Rams and the Dallas Cowboys put some of the NFL's best pass catchers on the field for a joint practice. For the Rams, league-leaders Puka Nacua and Davante Adams looked to put in a solid day of work against some familiar faces in Dallas' secondary, while stars CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens looked to sharpen their skills as they also enter their second year as a duo. Rams head coach Sean McVay complimented Dallas' duo after practice, calling them premier receivers. "Those are two of the premier receivers in this game," McVay said. "I think we've got some really great players on the back end as well and I think the fortunate thing for us is we're able to get that kind of back and forth with Puka and Davante against those guys. "Then you bring in two guys that are excellent players. George is a premier outside player. He can obviously play inside as well, and then CeeDee is playing all over the formation. Those guys are at the top of their game. I think it's great work for us.” The Rams and the Cowboys are set to play on December 20 at SoFi Stadium. While some might be concerned about exposure, as both teams often scrimmage and play exhibitions against each other, the Rams are used to holding joint practices with an opponent they'll see during the season. In 2025, the Rams scheduled a last-minute practice with the New Orleans Saints before defeating them 34-10 in the regular season.
