Barcelona are being tipped to make one last push for Julian Alvarez before moving on to an alternative to the Argentina international before the transfer window closes.
The Catalan giants have pursued Alvarez throughout the summer but Atletico continue to make it crystal clear they don’t want to sell.
Deco is believed to have other options up his sleeve in a bid to land a striker, while Barca are said to have set a deadline of the end of this week in their efforts to land Alvarez.
But are Barcelona wasting their time with Alvarez and should they now be focused on other targets, particularly as time is rapidly running out in the transfer window?
