Sophie Cunningham is celebrating her birthday on the same day the Indiana Fever will meet the Atlanta Dream in a matchup between two WNBA teams jockeying for playoff position. Ahead of the matchup, the Fever dropped their usual pregame fit check post on social media and we got a look at what Cunningham rolled up to the arena wearing. Ahead of Sunday evening’s game, the Fever gave their backup guard a birthday shoutout on social media. “Wishing a very happy birthday to Sophie Cunningham,” the Fever wrote on X. The Fever are 22-12 and own the No. 4 spot in the playoff picture, but the Dream are right there at 21-12 and sit a half game back in the No. 5 seed. So, that means the Dream will jump the Fever in the standings with a win on Sunday. Of course, Indiana will maintain its No. 4 spot with a victory. Indiana won the first game between the two squads, but the Dream have won each of the last two. This will be their final matchup of the 2026 season. Those numbers are right around what she has averaged in recent seasons. She is, however, shooting at a career-high clip from beyond the arc, with Cunningham knocking down 45.2% of her three pointers in 2026.
