Luciano Spalletti is clearly delighted that Juventus have signed Randal Kolo Muani this summer, with the Frenchman arriving to fill an important void in the Bianconeri squad this season.
Juventus needed another striker after Dusan Vlahovic left the club on the expiry of his contract at the end of last season. The men in black and white were therefore keen to bring in another forward, and Kolo Muani was a player they had always wanted.
Kolo Muani Returns to Juventus
Kolo Muani enjoyed a successful loan spell at Juventus during the 2024/2025 season and was also keen to return. The Bianconeri finally found a way to reach an agreement with PSG to sign the Frenchman, although completing the deal was never easy.
Spalletti now has the striker he wanted and can look to make the most of their time together in Turin. Kolo Muani performed well during his first spell at the club, and Juventus will hope he can continue in the same way and make it easier for them to move on from Vlahovic.
His versatility should also give Spalletti another important option in attack. The manager believes Kolo Muani has the qualities required to contribute in different ways and help Juventus during the campaign.
Spalletti Praises His New Striker
Speaking about his new striker, Spalletti said via Tuttojuve:
“I played against him in Naples and I appreciated his characteristics. We had also followed him for a while. He’s a complete striker, he knows how to attack depth, he knows how to play with the team, he’s fast, technical: he’s a bit’ everything. We need to make this bit of his work within the team’ everything he has and I’m convinced he will give us an important hand. Alajbegovic? It has class to sell, it’s beautiful to look at. Then we’ll have to see if he’s also concrete in his performances, because he’s someone who has a fantastic foot, he has to know how to play from many sides, not just in a specific role.”
Spalletti’s comments highlight his belief in Kolo Muani’s ability, and Juventus will now hope the striker can deliver consistently throughout the season.
