Michael Holley, co-host of NBC Sports' "PFT Live," became overheated and fainted on camera during Friday’s show.

Mike Florio was discussing Troy Aikman’s recent comments about his alleged conflict of interest with the Miami Dolphins and his role as an analyst for ESPN’s "Monday Night Football" when Holley appeared visibly unwell.

Holley, 56, began to sway and then tipped backward as he lost consciousness and fell out of his chair and out of the frame. "PFT Live" then quickly cut to a commercial.

The show announced on social media that Holley was "fine."

"On Friday’s PFT Live, Michael Holley became overheated and fainted in the studio in his home. We immediately went to a commercial break in order to get him assistance. Fortunately, Michael recovered quickly and is fine," the show said.

Florio said Holley had not had anything to eat or drink before the show.

"Michael was in the studio at his home," Florio told Awful Announcing in a statement. "It’s very warm in there. He hadn’t had anything to eat or drink before the show. He became overheated during the show and passed out. I didn’t notice until he slumped in his seat, because I was looking at the camera, not the monitor. We went to break right away to try to get him assistance, if he needed it. Fortunately, he recovered quickly and is fine."

Holley began working for NBC Sports and Peacock in 2020 and became a regular rotating co-host of "PFT Live" in 2024. He formerly wrote columns for the Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, The Plain Dealer and Akron Beacon Journal.

He also spent 13 years as a radio commentator with WEEI.
