A trade appears to be on the horizon for the Pittsburgh Steelers, as multiple reports indicate the team is interested in upgrading the defensive side of the ball.
According to Steelers reporter Jarrett Bailey, the team is "doing some due diligence on potential secondary trades."
It gets better, however, as fellow Steelers reporter Zachary Smith also revealed that the team has been in contact with a few teams for secondary trades: Carrington Valentine of the Green Bay Packers and Troy Polamalu's nephew, Isaiah Pola-Mao of the Las Vegas Raiders.

Valentine, who was selected by the Packers with the 232nd overall pick in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL Draft, has appeared in 49 games and made 30 starts over the past three seasons.
Pola-Mao, who played at USC from 2017-2021, signed with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent following the 2022 NFL Draft. He appeared in 61 games for Las Vegas and cemented himself as a full-time starter during the 2024 season. He also has ties to new Steelers defensive coordinator Patrick Graham.
It's no wonder why the Steelers have taken an interest in addressing their secondary via trade, as multiple starters and key depth pieces, such as Jalen Ramsey, Joey Porter Jr., Brandin Echols, and DeShon Elliott, are either battling injuries or recovering from them as training camp comes to an end.
