On Sunday, the weather stayed away and the Pittsburgh Steelers were able to put on the pads and go through a full workout. This is to be one of the team's last two padded practices. Unfortunately, several Steelers starters were on the sidelines and not practicing with the team. According to multiple reports, here is the rundown of players who didn't practice.
Wide receiver - DK Metcalf Wide receiver - Michael Pittman Jr. Defensive tackle - Sebastian Joseph-Day Safety - Jaquan Brisker Safety - Israel Mukuamu Cornerback - Brandin Echols Offensive tackle - Max Iheanachor Wide receiver - Brandon Smith
This is in addition to starting cornerback Joey Porter Jr. and defensive back Jalen Ramsey, who remain on the PUP list. Including them, that's five total starters out. The Steelers' next preseason game is Friday against the New York Jets. It would be great to see more of the starters get some live reps together before the start of the season.
