High school football season is here.
The 2026 season kicked off last week, with Hawaii being the first state to kick off last week. The action continues this week with four more states — Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada and Florida — in action for Week 0 of the 2026 season.
Three teams from the USA TODAY Sports Super 25 are in action this week, including the top-ranked IMG Academy. A wrench has already been thrown into the preseason rankings, as North Gwinnett pulled off an upset victory in Atlanta on Thursday, Aug. 13.
