SOMERSET — It was a summer to remember for the Swansea Xtreme girls 10U softball team.
The youth Xtreme 10U squad recently concluded a remarkable season, finishing with a 25-9-4 record. Swansea advanced to the championship game in five of its seven tournaments played this season.
The girls won the championship in Hopedale and finished as the runner-up in tournaments held in Somerset,Swansea, Dartmouth and Tewksbury.
In an open tournament in New Hampshire, Swansea competed against higher-level club teams.

Although the Xtreme 10U team did not advance to the championship game, they demonstrated that they could compete at that level, finishing the weekend with a 2-1-1 record.
