Tennessee men's tennis will open its 2026 fall schedule by hosting the Rocky Top Invitational.
The tournament will take place Sept. 18-20 at Goodfriend Tennis Center. It will feature No. 61 Indiana, No. 62 Louisville and No. 65 Memphis. Teams will compete in singles and doubles.
The Hoosiers have one singles player and one doubles pairing that were ranked in last season's final ITA rankings.
The 2026 Rocky Top Invitational will mark the first time Tennessee will host a fall invite since the Knoxville Showdown in Sept. 2022.
During the offseason, Tennessee head coach Chris Woodruff signed a top 20 freshman class, according to the Tennis Recruiting Network. He also added three SEC transfers.
Top returners for the Vols include Jose Garcia (the 2025-26 Ohio Valley Region Most Improved Player) and Shion Itsusaki. The trio of transfers include Alan Bojarski (Auburn), Orel Kimhi (Oklahoma) and Oscar Lacides, a former Sooner who was a two-time All-SEC performer.
