The Tennessee Titans are getting ready for their second preseason game, and all eyes will be on second-year quarterback Cam Ward.

Ward is coming off of a disappointing performance against the San Francisco 49ers in the preseason opener, which led to zero points on the board. Now, Ward will have to go against the Seattle Seahawks, who had the league’s best defense this past season.

MCM community, how do you feel about Ward facing off against the Seahawks this weekend? Let us know in the comments section below.

Today’s Titans news

Titans Practice Report: Cam Ward Improves, Secondary Continues to Struggle | Tennessee Titans On SI

The Titans are seeing Cam Ward take a step in the right direction, which is a positive sign after his struggles in the preseason opener against the San Francisco 49ers. The team is still far from the perfect product going into the season, but that’s what training camp is for.

49ers reporter adds inside scoop on a Robert Saleh preseason trend to watch for Titans fans and media | A to Z Sports

Robert Saleh’s defenses in the past have not always gotten off to the best of starts, which could provide some hope for the Titans, as their defense doesn’t appear to have it all figured out right away. The Titans defense is not in an optimal spot, but there is still plenty of time for things to be worked out.

Today’s NFL news

Trouble in the trenches halts Seahawks in preseason opener | Field Gulls

The Seahawks did not put their best foot forward in their preseason opener against the Dallas Cowboys. That should suggest a spirited response when they visit Nashville to face off against the Titans in their second preseason game.

Seahawks Offense Struggles vs. Cowboys, But It Isn’t Brian Fleury’s Fault | Seattle Seahawks On SI

The Seahawks have a new offensive coordinator in Brian Fleury, who, like Robert Salah, was on the San Francisco 49ers coaching staff last season. That should create an interesting matchup between the two teams in the preseason.
