The Aggies are going with a different look for their Oct. 3 home game against Arkansas. Texas A&M announced Friday that they'll be wearing 'honor and support' camouflage uniforms when they take the field against the Razorbacks. As noted on the school's website, the uniforms "feature a desert camouflage design inspired by the khaki uniforms of the Corps of Cadets, the dried grasslands and the rolling hills of Aggieland." The ceremonial fashion statement pays homage to the armed forces, but that contest will also serve to celebrate the school's 150th anniversary. Perhaps the decision comes at the perfect time on the schedule, as the Aggies' maroon and white and the Razorbacks' red and white may have been too visually similar on the gridiron.
