Here’s your daily heaping helping of all the Chicago Bears news that’s fit to share, what’s going on with the NFL and, of course, a look at The Enemy.
The man, the legend Tyson Bagent will show us what a year of study under the guidance of Ben Johnson can do for his game. My guess? Very good things. Bagent was already a good backup, I expect him to show he can be a legit starter in this league.
Many of the Chicago Bears starters including Caleb Williams will watch from the sidelines as the Bears take on the Cleveland Browns for the only home preseason game of 2026.
Plus, there’s stadium talk as well today. I wouldn’t call it news, really. Mostly just talk.

Bears need to play QB Caleb Williams at some point this preseason to check his progress
Bears coach Ben Johnson said not only will Williams sit out Saturday vs. the Browns, but he could hold him out of the other two preseason games as well. Of course, pundit Jason Lieser can’t write an article that doesn’t start “Bears need to”. I guess it’s a rule.
