On Tuesday, Front Office Sports reported that Fresh Tape Media, the company responsible for producing LIV Golf’s preseason media days earlier this year, is suing the breakaway league for $1.23 million for unpaid invoices. As part of the lawsuit, FTM is looking to freeze some of LIV’s assets.

Less than two hours after the report was posted to FOS’s Twitter account, Jared Kleinstein, the founder of FTM, confirmed the lawsuit and said, “This isn’t about the work or the people we collaborated with. It’s pretty simple: when a small business does the work, it deserves to be paid for it.”
This lawsuit is just the latest controversy surrounding LIV in recent days. Last week, it was reported that Jon Rahm is heavily considering leaving the league following the 2026 season, which will now end on Sunday after LIV cancelled its season finale that was originally scheduled for next week.
It’s all been downhill for LIV since CEO Scott O’Neil announced the league had found new funding.
