Their rivalry was a big factor in the WNBA gaining popularity after both were drafted. And it is good for the league when they are going head to head and being compared.
Their careers in the W have been a little different. Reese’s rebounding has been spectacular, but her scoring leaves a lot to be desired. And one stat a fan has pointed out shows the glaring difference.

Clark is a guard, while Reese is a big. Caitlin has the undoubted advantage in playmaking, while Angel is arguably one of the best rebounders in WNBA history.
However, considering that Reese plays close to the basket, she should ideally be more efficient from the field. As per a stat shared by a fan recently though, the inverse happens to be the case.
A fan on Reddit showed that the Atlanta Dream star is among the bottom five players who average more than 10 shots when it comes to true shooting percentage.
As per Statmuse, the Fever star’s true shooting percentage for the 2026 season sits at 60.5 percent. However, Reese sits at 49.7 percent, less than 50.
This is the key difference between the two. Clark’s game has its flaws, but none are as glaring as Reese’s inefficiency. If she truly wants to grow into a long-term rival, she will have to improve on this front.
