We have an afternoon game today, 3:00 Eastern. The Jays now have a 15.6% chance of making the playoffs, which is almost double than what it was a couple of weeks ago. The next couple of weeks well tell us a lot. After today’s game, they play six games (home and road) against the Yankees and three game in Tampa against the Rays.
There isn’t all that much for Jays’ news.
Brendon Little is off on Paternity Leave, on his birthday yet.
Lazaro Estrada is back. I think he’s been optioned five times this year, which is the limit. But I don’t know if it works the same when you are up for a Paternity Leave. And I’m not sure that the Jays would be worried about having to put him on waivers.
And there is this.
John Schneider has cranked up the in-stadium music through the speakers in the #BlueJays’ dugout, anything to bring more energy:

“It’s like the crowd. You can already hear it, but if you can *really* hear it, that goes under the category of ‘full send’. Like, let’s fucking go.”
Well, ok. Let’s see how long it lasts until they complain they can’t hear each other.
